#SDCC: Batman v Superman Trailer 2

Last week was the San Diago Comic Con, and this weekend was a big weekend for a lot of fans of the DC universe. Those who went to see it got to see trailers for Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman. I'm very very looking forward to the expansion of the DC Movie-verse, and hope it will be just as good as the MCU has been so far.

Here's the good quality trailer if you haven't seen it.

Captian America: The Winter Soldier

The first official trailer for Captain America 2 came out recently. I thought I'd share it here as I watch some of the season openers of my favorite shows this year. I'll be honest, this looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to see this and Thor: The Dark World as soon as I can. Though that won't be until it's out on Disc or Download.

Epicon Reviews~Dracula: Untold

Before I begin, I wish to say one thing. To any fans of Stephanie Meyer's “Twilight” franchise, good on you. Enjoy your entirely ridiculous watering down and over-romanticizing of what makes a Vampire a FREAKING VAMPIRE (and, by extension, a Werewolf into a FRIGGING WEREWOLF!). I just don't see the appeal in this story: you have vampires who SPARKLE (READ PLEASE: S-P-A-R-K-L-E! AS IN TINKERBELL!) in sunlight, and have been around long enough to engage in the modern-day version of “mysterious teen angst”, as well as werewolves who hunt in large packs and look like BOY-BAND WANNA-BES.

Fantastic Fail

I have not gotten to see this movie yet so this should be taken with a grain of salt. I was HOPING I would be pleasantly surprised that this might actually end up being a good movie. All signs however seem to point to a cinematic disaster of... well the attached image tells it all. There has been no really positive reviews of this movie. The critics I usually ignore, but no one has come out saying they liked it either among the actual fans. The response has been a lot of meh to "Oh the Humanity!!!"

Hail to the Queen, Baby!

#000000" face="Calibri" size="3">So I’ve been linked to a lot of “Men’s Right’s” posts condemning Mad Max: Fury Road. I haven’t’ seen the flick yet, frankly I think the only thing I dislike about it so far is the fact that Max (Tom Hardy) is the one doing the voice over in the trailer. I’ll go into that in another article, but it’s an artistic opinion. I wonder though, how many people, both with these alpha males and cheering Charlize Theron on understand how long Sci-Fi/Fantasy has had strong lead or supporting female characters.

Lunopolis

So I found this movie a few years ago on Netflix called Lunopolis. I watched it and it was in my opinion a fun movie. It was interesting, it was shot in the style of a found footage documentary and it seems interesting. I purchased it on Amazon Instant and the DVD copy with commentary and such. So I liked it and paid for liking it.

New Rogue One Trailer!

The newest trailer for Rogue One Dropped last night after the Olympics. I've had to be at work at 5am each morning this week so I'm only now getting to post the trailer for your enjoyment.

This gives us more information on the story, and the characters. I think it looks like a great run here and I'm looking forward to more.

Suicide Squad

Got to see the Thursday night showing of Suicide Squad at the local theater. There was a line here in Granbury for the first showing.

I had a grand ol' time indeed.

The movie was a great flick. It brought us back into the world we last saw with the Death of Superman. We aren’t going to see much in the way of the heroes though. No, they only serve as a story point as we get to meet some of the worst criminals this world has to offer. Acting on orders from a covert part of the US Government. Succeed, get time off your sentence. Fail, you die.

Suicide Squad Trailer!

Well, while Warner Bros. may not have been thrilled at the leak of Suicide Squad content that was supposed to stay exclusive to COmic Con, they have decided that they would just up and release the trailer. So We got the Batman v Superman trailer then we get this today.

It's just kick ass how we get such great stuff over time.

Total Recall (2012) - Xbox Exclusive Director's Cut

I know a bunch of folk felt that Total Recall was a bit of a bust. Frankly when I watched it on Amazon Instant last year I enjoyed it. I liked the new take on the old idea, and it didn't feel like so many trashy lets do this cause it's cool reboots. Well I got a hold of the XBox Director's Cut (Called Xbox Exclusive).

I don’t know if it's still exclusive or not, but it's a very interesting recut.
